The Scholarship Fund for Inner-City Children
The Scholarship Fund for Inner-City Children provides partial-tuition scholarships to economically disadvantaged children in grades K-12 attending Catholic schools within the Archdiocese of Newark. Scholarship awards are based upon financial need, without regard to race, religion or ethnicity.
Under NJ State Statutes 18A:39-1, provides for the transportation of non-public school students (or Aid in Lieu of Payment) for students that live remote from school. Students, in grades K-8, who live beyond 2 miles from St. Aloysius are eligible for this aid.
The EMLA Rimelspacher Scholarship Fund
Jersey City Transportation Application- Applications must be submitted annually, for each child eligible for this program.
- Jersey City residents must submit their application(s) to the Academy office by March 15th, for the following school year. Click on the button below to obtain an application.
- Families who do not reside in Jersey City must contact the Board of Education in their town/city to apply for this program.
