Reading - Genre - Animal Fantasy. Stories of the week, The Big Blue Ox, Greg the Goat, Fred and Sam go Camping, Pat's Hat, and Hoot Hoot.  Reading Comprehension, Fact vs Fiction, Character and Setting, Key features of a short poem.

Math - Addition Facts - adding numbers with sums up to 12 in horizontal and vertical form. Ways to make a number using addition, Reviewing the concept of order. Using dominoes and ten frames to model sums.  Review for Test.  Math Test on Thursday.

Phonics - Spelling and identifying Short "o" sound and final and identifying singular and plural nouns -s plural words, 

Language Arts - Predicates of sentences, the action part of a sentence. identifying the action in sentences,  Research - topic ideas and choosing a topic, 

Science- The Wright Brothers and their invention of the Plane, How structures of the World can inspire Technology. 

Religion - Exploring the Gospel Message- Matthew 21:28-32 Parable of  The Two Sons, Discuss choices we make everyday and ways we can help one another make good choices. Jesus wants us to do the right thing, Hearing God's word and keeping it. Faith Words.
